   ♥ Name: Alison Jeffers
♥ Stockbroker and founder CO of HSD Capital

Character Description:
Alison is a sensual woman, yet one who has been tremendously wounded and betrayed. She doesn't hesitate to use her feminine wiles to get ahead in the financial world, a world dominated by men.

Her relationship with Hunter Lasky was full of mind-games and constant one-upping, making her character far more complex as the season wore on.

US Viewers never got the chance to see the second season of Bull (which had finished filming 12 eps) due to TNT pulling it for their new series, Witchblade. However, that second season was aired in other parts of the globe.

   Elisabeth Rohm on Alison Jeffers:
"Basically I have a father that refused to acknowledge my existence. My mother was a secretary and had gotten pregnant to this very, very big person and she said 'I'm pregnant' and he said, 'Go fuck yourself.' So growing up with a very famous father that wouldn't even acknowledge my presence kind of begins to come out about my story line. I think basically, that's a big part of Alison. I mean, this girl has been so betrayed and has been so abandoned. She doesn't trust anyone. It's exactly why she ends up falling in love with Hunter Lasky (Stanley Tucci) because she gets into a situation where it's not about love and vulnerability. It's about messing with each other, manipulating each other. I mean, in a real loving relationship, which I hope to have one day, I believe that love is about safety and trust and you've got to be vulnerable for that and she's not vulnerable. She's completely controlling the entire situation with him and everybody else. She doesn't let anybody in, she's very protected. But the thing is at the bottom of that type of personality is somebody who's very much broken. But she's very strong too, she's a survivor. I mean, she is what she is. She's very protected and cautious but she's one heck of a strong woman."

The concept (from Pazsaz):

Bull premiered on TNT on August 15, 2000. Bull is the story of a team of investment bankers and traders who rock Wall Street and the new economy when they break away from an established financial firm to start their own company.

Their leader is the brilliant but eccentric grandson of the founder of their former company, who must betray his family heritage in order to stake a claim to his own life. His partners, each with a separate agenda, risk losing everything to join him in the new venture.

Disillusioned by his autocratic grandfather, Robert "The Kaiser" Roberts, renegade broker Robert "Ditto" Roberts III risks everything when he defects from the old-guard firm. "Ditto" presents a plan to his hard-charging colleagues, Corey Granville, Marty Decker, Carson Boyd, Alison Jeffers and Marissa Rufo to begin a rival start-up firm that will answer the call of the new economy.

With no financing, no clients and the rivalry of every player in town, the team's dreams rest on Hunter Lasky, the hard hitting negotiations shark who has the potential to give the renegade team of Wall Street Turks the edge and the legitimacy they need to succeed in the competitive world of high finance http://www.breaktv.com/tnt/bull_story1.html
